On October 1, the delegation from University of Taipei (UT) visited Nagoya City University (NCU). To welcome the delegation, NCU hosted the event with the president Asai and the faculty members from several departments.

Nagoya City University signed an academic exchange agreement with University of Taipei in 2023. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic at the time, the signing ceremony was held online. This visit was the first opportunity for both institutions to meet face-to-face.

The presidents of both universities exchanged greetings and introduced their respective institutions. The participants were then divided into specialized groups to engage in more in-depth discussions on specific academic fields.

The meetings were highly meaningful, and both universities expressed high expectations for the further development of the partnership in the years to come.
