On Friday, May 16, 2025, Kenjiro Kohri, Chairperson of Nagoya City University, visited the Department for
Youth, Taipei City Government in Taiwan. A signing ceremony for the “International Student Internship Program” was held at Taipei City Hall.

The ceremony was attended by Sichuan Lee, Deputy Mayor of Taipei City, Yi-Xi Zhou, Director of the Department for Youth of Taipei City, Midori Sugino, Deputy Mayor of Nagoya City and other officials from Taipei City and Nagoya City.

-Program Outline-
Selected students from Nagoya City University will be sent to the Department for Youth, Taipei City Government as interns during their long vacations, where they will work with local students for four to six weeks on municipal issues.

International interns from around the world will form teams with local students to tackle municipal issues through field studies and local research.
Participants are expected to broaden their international perspectives and become global talent.
