Graduate School of Science

Outline

This graduate course begins with acquiring basic knowledge of theories and technologies related to natural and information sciences for the purpose of elucidating unsolved life- and material-related phenomena.Students are provided with the knowledge and research experience that allow them to contribute to the progress of science and technology in future. This course program emphasizes interdisciplinary sciences that are indispensable for solving complicated problems that emerge in the 21st century, and the realization of a sustainable society. This graduate school is open day and night for working students.

Master's Program in Information and Basic Science

The program emphasizes the fusion between information and basic sciences for developing new fields between established sciences.

The specialized subjects are divided into the following two groups:
  • Biological Science
  • Mathematical and Material Sciences

Ph. D. Program in Information and Basic Science

The program aims to provide a very high level of academic research and education, in which students observe and/or analyze complicated biological and material phenomena from macroscopic and microscopic standpoints to understand the dynamics of the fundamental processes as an information system.

The specialized subjects are divided into the following two groups:
  • Biological Science
  • Mathematical and Material Sciences
